Best Treatment for Liver Cancer

There is no fixed best treatment for liver cancer, and treatment should be based on patient’s condition. For early-stage liver cancer, surgery, liver transplantation, radiotherapy and chemotherapy are feasible; for advanced liver cancer, conservative treatment is mainly adopted to prolong the patient’s life and minimize the patient’s pain as the principle of treatment. 1. For patients with early stage liver cancer, as long as they meet the indications for surgery and have no contraindications to surgery, liver resection and liver transplantation are feasible; if there are no contraindications to radiotherapy and chemotherapy and they are suitable for radiotherapy and chemotherapy, they can be treated with radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy. 2. For advanced liver cancer patients, most of them are in metastasis or weak, vascular intervention, targeted therapy, immunotherapy and other methods are feasible. As advanced liver cancer patients have poor therapeutic effect and low survival rate, conservative treatment is the mainstay. After diagnosed with liver cancer, patients should go to regular hospitals and be treated by doctors according to their conditions, and they should not use drugs randomly.
