Hernia elimination methods

Hernia is a common benign disease of general surgery that occurs mainly in adults and manifests itself as a mass in the inguinal region, especially after exertion and in the upright position, while the mass can gradually decrease or even disappear when resting in the flat position. In mild cases, patients can choose conservative treatment, wear a hernia belt and pay attention to adjusting the diet structure and not overeating. Because many patients suffer from habitual constipation, benign prostatic hyperplasia, or prolonged chronic cough and phlegm, they should also pay attention to prevention and treatment. In severe cases, the most effective treatment goes to surgery. The traditional surgical approach is open surgery for tension repair, or tension-free repair with the application of a patch. Surgical treatment can also be performed laparoscopically, which requires surgery under general anesthesia.
