Cerebral bruising is an old-fashioned term that refers mainly to ischemic cerebrovascular disease, in which the patient develops cerebral bruising due to vascular occlusion and blood pooling in the skull. For the treatment of cerebral bruising, the patient is advised to have a head CT to rule out hemorrhagic disease. If the onset of the disease is within 4.5 hours, the patient should be given intravenous atelectase or urokinase. If the patient has been admitted for more than 6 hours, the patient should be given antiplatelet aggregation, oral aspirin or sodium Ozagrel, along with drugs to activate blood circulation and remove oxygen free radicals. Clinically commonly used are thromboxane for injection, danshen chuanxiongzin, saffron yellow pigment for injection, etc. If the patient has stenosis of blood vessels, butalbital injection and edaravone can also be used to save the ischemic semidark band. At the same time, the patient should be given a low-salt, low-fat diet that is light and digestible, and it is recommended to start secondary prevention of cerebrovascular disease after the acute phase.
