Dietary therapy for patients with bile duct cancer disease

Cholangiocarcinoma is one of the common malignant tumor diseases, the etiology of which has not been clearly discussed so far and may be related to various factors, such as gallbladder stones, primary choledochal cyst, multiple cystic enlargement of gallbladder, primary sclerosing cholangitis, ulcerative colitis and Schistosoma chinensis. About 1/3 of patients with cholangiocarcinoma also have bile duct stones, and 3%-5% of primary bile duct stones are complicated by cholangiocarcinoma, indicating that bile duct stones are closely related to cholangiocarcinoma, which may be related to bile stasis and slow inflammation affecting epithelial atypical proliferation and cancer. The cancer rate of congenital common bile duct cyst is 17%. Bile in cysts accumulates for a long time, and bile acid and its differentiation products have carcinogenic effect. Multiple cystic enlargement of bile ducts is often accompanied by biliopancreatic duct collection anomaly, and the cancer rate is 7%. After 10-15 years of primary sclerosing cholangitis and ulcerative colitis, the gallbladder carcinogenesis rate reaches 20% and 7%. Parasitic worms such as Toxoplasma gondii can also cause atypical epithelial hyperplasia and even carcinoma of the bile duct wall, but the mechanism is not described. In a word, the development of bile duct cancer is the result of the interaction of many factors, so the prevention and treatment of the disease must start from all aspects of life in order to keep away from bile duct cancer to the maximum extent. We should choose foods that are easy to digest and absorb, and try not to eat greasy, high-fat and high-calorie foods.
