Management of sinus bradycardia usually includes general treatment, medication and cardiac pacing therapy. Patients with physiologic and asymptomatic sinus bradycardia do not need to be treated. If the bradycardia causes the body to experience symptoms of insufficient cardiac output such as dizziness and fatigue, it can be treated with medications such as atropine and isoprenaline for a short period of time. If medication is ineffective, pacemaker implantation may be considered. Sinus bradycardia is common in healthy young people, athletes, sleepy state, etc. and severe hypoxia, hypothermia, application of drugs such as metoprolol or amiodarone.
