Is it normal to have 7 erythrocytes/HP on a urine test?

Urinalysis with 7 red blood cells/HP is not normal. Under normal circumstances, the normal value of erythrocytes in urine routine is 0~3 erythrocytes/HP. therefore, when the urine test shows that erythrocytes are 7 erythrocytes/HP is slightly high. There are no red blood cells in normal human urine, but some physiological factors including strenuous exercise, heavy physical labor, etc. can lead to a mild increase in red blood cells in the urine, and even improper preservation of the specimen can lead to inaccurate results. Some pathologic factors can also lead to high erythrocytes in the urine, and some common ones are glomerulonephritis, hemorrhagic cystitis and urinary stones. Therefore, patients with increased erythrocytes in the urine are advised to go to the hospital in time, and complete the relevant examinations under the guidance of the doctor, such as ultrasound, CT or cystoscopy to determine the cause of the disease, and then targeted treatment.
