Repeated crusting on the inner wall of the nose may be caused by diseases such as nasal vestibulitis, atrophic rhinitis and dry rhinitis.
1. Nasal vestibulitis: it may be related to long-term exposure to harmful dust, nose picking or rubbing the vestibule of the nose and other bad habits, but also may be related to allergic rhinitis, nasal foreign body, sinusitis and other diseases, usually in the acute stage, there will be skin erosion or cracking symptoms, and the surface of the scabs, so the patient has a recurrent scabbing on the inside of the nose.
2. Atrophic rhinitis: the disease may be related to heredity, endocrine disorders, immune dysfunction and other reasons, but can also be secondary to chronic sinusitis, syphilis and other diseases, the common symptoms of nasal congestion, olfactory loss, nasal crust, etc., most often manifested as repeated crusting of the inner wall of the nose.
3. Dry rhinitis: the cause of this disease is not clear, may be related to vitamin deficiency, indigestion, constipation, dry climate, long-term exposure to harmful gases, etc., the typical symptoms of nasal dryness, nosebleeds, etc., sometimes accompanied by easy to crust and so on, so that the individual patient will appear in the nose wall repeatedly crusted phenomenon.
It is recommended that patients with recurring scabs on the inside of the nose go to the hospital to clarify the specific cause.
