Angina pectoris, how to treat

Angina pectoris is a kind of acute disease, you can take drugs to relieve angina pectoris in acute attack, and in remission period, you can be treated by taking drugs, surgery and other ways.
Angina pectoris is a disease of acute ischemia and hypoxia of the myocardium caused by insufficient blood supply to the coronary arteries. For patients with acute attacks of angina pectoris, sublingual nitroglycerin, isosorbide nitrate, quick-acting heart-saving pills, and compound salvage pills can be taken for first aid.
For patients with angina pectoris in remission, treatment can take isosorbide mononitrate to expand coronary arteries; should also take oral nifedipine to control blood pressure and reduce the cardiac load; take propranolol to reduce the myocardial energy consumption, to avoid angina pectoris attack again; take aspirin, atorvastatin and other medications to avoid aggravation of coronary atherosclerosis and so on.
If the patient’s coronary artery stenosis is severe, it can also be treated by implanting a stent through interventional surgery.
If angina is diagnosed, please consult a doctor and follow the doctor’s instructions.
