How Resting Angina is Treated

Resting angina can be treated with general therapy, drug therapy, surgical treatment and so on.
1. General treatment: patients need to rest in bed, keep the environment quiet, if the patient is irritable, anxiety, etc., can be applied to small doses of sedatives and anti-anxiety drugs, such as diazepam, sertraline and so on. If there is cyanosis, dyspnea, etc., oxygen can be inhaled and blood oxygen saturation can be detected. At the same time, actively deal with infections, low blood pressure, lung infections and other problems, so as not to cause increased myocardial oxygen consumption.
2.Drug treatment:
(1) Anti-myocardial ischemic drugs: nitroglycerin, metoprolol and other drugs can be used to reduce myocardial ischemia, dilate coronary arteries, and relieve angina attacks.
(2) Antiplatelet therapy: aspirin, clopidogrel and other drugs are needed to reduce platelet aggregation.
(3) Anti-coagulation therapy: heparin and sodium sulfadiazepoxide need to be used on the basis of antiplatelet therapy to prevent thrombosis.
(4) Lipid-regulating therapy: commonly used drugs are statins, such as simvastatin and atorvastatin, which have the effect of stabilizing plaque.
(5) ACEI or ARB, etc.: ACEI is angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor, such as enalapril, benazepril, etc., long-term application can reduce the incidence of cardiovascular events. Those who cannot tolerate ACEI can use ARB (angiotensin II receptor antagonist), such as valsartan, timosartan and so on.
3. Surgical treatment: Surgical treatment for resting angina is coronary artery revascularization, including percutaneous coronary intervention and coronary artery bypass grafting.
It is recommended that patients actively seek medical treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
