Radiotherapy can be preoperative radiotherapy and postoperative radiotherapy. Preoperative radiotherapy can be used for stage II rectal cancer. Preoperative radiotherapy can shrink the tumor and reduce the stage, improve the resection rate of surgery and reduce the local recurrence rate.
