What to do if you rupture a tendon in the shoulder joint

There are many tendons around the shoulder joint, and these tendons are essential for maintaining the range of motion of the shoulder joint in all directions. If a tendon rupture seriously affects the shoulder joint, surgical treatment should be actively pursued, such as anastomosis of the tendon or reconstruction of the tendon ligament stop, etc. The more common clinical cases are the rupture of the supraspinatus tendon and the rupture of the biceps longus tendon. Because the whole tendon is very elastic, it will retract partly soon after the rupture, and there is no way for the whole ruptured part to heal on its own without surgical anastomosis and other methods to deal with the ruptured end. The surgical options can be minimally invasive inter-arthroscopic surgery or fixation surgery with screw ligament stop reconstruction. The exact surgical option depends on the characteristics of the condition.
