Thickening of the lips may be caused by trauma, allergies, chronic lipitis, and mucous gland cysts.
1. Trauma. Lip thickening occurs when the lips are hit or bitten, causing localized edema.
2. Allergy. Due to allergy to food, cosmetics and other allergens, causing allergy, resulting in edema of the lips, thus appearing lip thickening.
3. Chronic lipitis. Suffering from chronic lipitis, there will be symptoms such as pain and swelling of the lips, and the above phenomenon will occur.
4. Mucous gland cysts. Due to the obstruction of the ductal system, trauma and other reasons, translucent blisters appear under the oral mucosa, and after rupture and healing, cysts are likely to appear, resulting in the above phenomena.
