Symptoms of dampness-heat such as dampness-heat of the liver and gallbladder manifested as pain in the ribs, dampness-heat of the spleen and stomach manifested as abdominal distension, dampness-heat of the bladder manifested as frequent urination, and so on.
1. Damp-heat of the liver and gallbladder: manifested by pain in the ribs (pain in the area of the ribs), bitter taste in the mouth, anorexia, nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, abdominal distension, dark-colored urine, yellow eyes, yellow skin, itching of the pubic area, eczema, and yellow, thick and foul-smelling discharge from the womb, and other symptoms.
2. Damp-heat in the spleen and stomach: symptoms such as upset, body heat, nausea, bitter or sticky mouth, thirst, bloating, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, diarrhea, yellow and foul stools, burning anus, yellow urine, and so on.
3. Damp-heat bladder syndrome: manifested as small amount of yellow urine, frequent urination, urinary urgency, burning sensation of urination, urinary pain, or blood in the urine, urine with gravel, or waist and abdominal distension, thirst, fever and other symptoms.
