Most of the cases of thick and thin legs are due to venous insufficiency in the lower limbs. When valvular insufficiency occurs in the veins of the lower extremities of the human body, it is equivalent to a valve in the blood vessels that is not closed properly. This valve is one-way open, when the blood from the foot to the heart when the valve is open, and vice versa the valve is closed, if the valve is broken will lead to a part of the blood from the heart backflow back into the blood vessels, causing the thickening of the blood vessels, pressure increases, the contents of the blood vessels seepage, leading to inter-tissue oedema, resulting in leg thickness, this situation often occurs in the long standing, sitting for a long time, get up and move around or the affected limb after elevation, because of the promotion of the return flow of the veins of the lower limbs, so the situation will be the same. This condition often occurs after standing or sitting for a long time. After getting up and moving or elevating the affected limb, the situation will be significantly reduced because it promotes the reflux of the lower limb.
