If it is clear that the fever is due to pyogenic tonsillitis, parents can give their child non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen and acetaminophen as prescribed by the doctor to help normalize the child’s temperature. Some parents can also be placed in the child’s head, armpit parts of the ice packs and warm water baths and other physical ways to lower the temperature, should also be timely for the child to replenish water, to prevent water electrolyte disorders. At the same time the application of antibiotics anti-infective treatment, preferred penicillin class such as penicillin sodium, according to the severity of the disease to determine the route of administration, the effect of three days of medication is not good, can be replaced with antibiotics, such as cefuroxime, azithromycin, and so on. Sensitive antibiotics can also be selected according to the drug sensitivity test, and glucocorticosteroids, such as dexamethasone, can be applied as appropriate. Parents are advised to use medication for their children under the guidance of a physician, and not to use drugs or prescriptions indiscriminately on their own.
