How long does it take for liver cancer to go from early to late stage

The natural course of liver cancer, from early stage to terminal stage, takes about one year, and some patients take two years to develop. If liver cancer is diagnosed clinically, after series of regular treatments, patients with very early stage and early stage can be cured; the natural course of intermediate stage liver cancer is about two years, three years, or even longer; however, due to the poor prognosis of patients with advanced stage and terminal stage, the general survival period is only about half a year or eight months.
