What’s the pain behind the right ear?

When a patient develops pain behind the right ear, it is possible that a localized sebaceous cyst with infection has developed behind the right ear. This condition is often due to blockage of localized skin follicles and secondary infection, and some patients may develop further cysts, which may require further treatment with incision and drainage along with active anti-infective treatment. In addition, some patients may have lymph node inflammation, swelling and pain behind the right ear, which is often related to the infection and breakdown of the surrounding skin, or respiratory tract inflammation and infection, and some patients may also have lumps and nodules in the parotid gland area, and ultrasound can be done to help clarify the diagnosis if necessary. A small number of patients may also appear behind the right ear localized paroxysmal pain, mostly for the manifestation of neuralgia, often and the patient’s adverse mental emotional factors, or repeated fatigue, stay up all night and other factors related.
