Cervical erosion is generally classified into three levels, which can also be divided into mild, moderate and severe: 1. primary erosion means that the extent of the erosion does not exceed 1/3 of the cervical area and is generally confined to the area around the cervical opening. 2. secondary erosion means that the area of the erosion exceeds 1/3 but is not greater than 2/3. 3. tertiary erosion means that the extent of the cervical erosion has exceeded more than 2/3 and even the entire cervix is eroded. Generally, Grade 1 cervical erosion does not require special treatment as long as there are no obvious clinical symptoms. Grade 2 cervical erosion can be treated with medication or microwave depending on the situation. Most grade 3 cervical erosion requires surgery, and preoperative tests are needed to exclude cervical precancerous lesions.
