What does high grade infiltrative mean?

High-grade infiltrative is a diagnostic term for pathology, often a diagnostic term described only for malignant tumors. It is a diagnostic term for malignant tumors that suggests a higher cellular grading and a more extensive infiltration. In the classification of malignant tumors, most of which tend to be epithelial, the presence of high-grade infiltrative often suggests a relatively high degree of malignancy and a poor prognosis, requiring aggressive treatment. If the time and conditions for surgery are available, early surgical resection of the cancerous tissue is recommended, and postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy and other comprehensive treatments are often required to improve the patient’s survival rate. Without further treatment, survival is often seriously jeopardized. If treatment is abandoned, the patient may experience extensive tumor spread and infiltration within a short period of time and lose the opportunity for surgical or radiotherapy treatment.
