What is a special cough suppressant?

In general, there is no special cough medicine, cough and upper respiratory tract infection, pneumonia, tuberculosis and other related, patients can follow the doctor’s instructions on the cause of the drug treatment.
1. Upper respiratory tract infection: some patients can be self-cured, without special treatment. If the patient’s cough is serious, codeine, dextromethorphan and other cough suppressants can be applied. Those with fever can be treated with antipyretic drugs such as ibuprofen and loxoprofen. If coughing up sputum, can use aminoglutethimide, acetylcysteine expectorant.
3. Tuberculosis: When coughing, patients can be treated with cough suppressants such as dextromethorphan and phenylpropylpiperine, and should also be combined with anti-tuberculosis drugs such as isoniazid, rifampicin and pyrazinamide. Hemoptysis need to apply aminocaproic acid, phenol sulfonyl ethylamine and other drugs to stop bleeding and prevent anemia.
