The lumbar spine is the lower part of the spine, the normal spine is located in the center of the back, divided into cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebrae, cervical vertebrae are divided into 7 sections, 12 thoracic vertebrae, lumbar vertebrae 5 sections. Below the lumbar vertebrae is the sacrococcygeal vertebrae, normally the upper edge of the iliac bone flat 5th lumbar vertebrae, the height of each vertebra in adults is about 3-4 cm, once up about 15 cm or so, which is basically the distance of about 7-8 cm above and below the navel, belongs to the location of the lumbar vertebrae. The thoracic vertebrae are ribbed and can be felt by hand, the vertebrae below the last rib belong to the lumbar vertebrae, the lumbar vertebrae have a wide range of mobility, the lumbar vertebrae are prone to disc herniation and lesions of the corresponding muscles and small joints of the vertebrae, X-rays can be taken to clarify the location of the lumbar vertebrae and to detect potential lesions.
