Lumbar spine frontal and lateral DR examination is the ordinary X-ray film examination, and the X-ray film examination is very sensitive to the bone structure, and can generally determine the sequence of the lumbar vertebrae and the bone quality, such as whether there is scoliosis, lumbar fracture or osteophyte, osteoporosis, and whether there are underlying lesions such as slippage of the vertebral structure. The presence of vertebral tumors or lumbar spine tuberculosis can also be ruled out by radiographic examination. However, muscle strain of the lumbar spine, lumbar disc herniation, and even hemangioma of the lumbar vertebral body cannot be clearly determined by simple frontal and lateral X-ray examinations, and further CT or MRI examinations are required to determine this.
