In the afternoon of August 15, the Department of Radiology and PICC Clinic jointly held a salon on the theme of “PICC and hyperbaric injection”, in which about 30 nurses from the Department of Radiology and the injection room participated. Associate Professor Gao Wei, head nurse, and Lv Shizhen, teaching teacher, combined their own working experience to explain the knowledge of high pressure resistant PICC catheter and the standardized use of indwelling needle respectively, emphasizing that high priority should be given to high-risk patients, and the whole process should be monitored from triage, needle placement to injection, and giving detailed guidance and sharing on the details of radiology nursing work.
The activity lasted about 2 hours and received good results.
