Is breathlessness a new coronavirus?

Shortness of breath is not necessarily caused by the new coronavirus pneumonia. New coronavirus pneumonia is an inflammation of the lungs caused by the new coronavirus infection, which often results in chills, fever, cough, sputum, tightness in the chest, shortness of breath, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat and other symptoms, so tightness in the chest and shortness of breath can be caused by the new coronavirus pneumonia. But breathlessness can also be caused by other diseases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchial asthma, spontaneous pneumothorax, pneumoconiosis, tuberculosis and other diseases, which lead to a decline in lung function, and breathlessness can occur. So breathlessness is not necessarily caused by novel coronavirus pneumonia. If the disease is suspected, chest CT, blood test, nucleic acid test and other tests are needed to further clarify the diagnosis.
