Is a 0.8cm stone serious?

Stones of 0.8 cm are not serious and most commonly occur in the ureter or kidney, where the patient may experience significant pain, accompanied by hematuria after activity. Smaller stones can be treated conservatively by taking oral anti-lithotriptics or Chinese herbal medicine to remove stones. Ultrasound is also recommended. Some patients can also choose percutaneous nephrolithoscopy or ureteroscopy to remove the stones; during the treatment period, patients should also pay attention to the prevention of infection and be advised to drink more water.
