We often see many children with high hyperopia in the clinic, their hyperopia is often more than 800 degrees, although we have many varieties of ultra-thin lenses, but children still need to wear thick hyperopic glasses, ordinary high hyperopia lens disadvantages: 1, glasses heavy, the child’s nasal bridge can not bear. 2, because of the large degree of hyperopia, often ordinary glasses can not give enough degrees, not convenient for children amblyopia treatment. Our ophthalmology department has introduced 3M’s ultra-light and ultra-thin pressed and taped highly hyperopic diaphragm lenses, which can solve this problem successfully. By wearing these glasses, the child’s treatment has achieved satisfactory results. In particular, infants and children with high hyperopia and those with congenital cataract surgery are better treated with these special glasses.
