Little-known digestive disease killer in obese patients

Most obese patients and their own doctors are unaware that obese patients have many significant impact on the complications of diseases, including more digestive diseases. Such as snoring (respiratory sleep apnea syndrome), gastroesophageal reflux disease, fatty liver, dyslipidemia, chronic constipation, etc. Our research confirms that more than 90% of obese snoring patients have gastroesophageal reflux disease, with nocturnal episodes predominantly. Snoring is accompanied by a large amount of gastric acid reflux into the esophagus, and in serious cases, reflux into the trachea, leading to nighttime choking and slow lung damage, and serious impairment of the quality of mid-sleep; both primary obese patients and obese patients whose diseases are complicated by their appearance have this phenomenon. However, more than 99% of patients and doctors are unaware of this nocturnal chronic killer and do not receive sufficient attention and standardized treatment. Obese patients have dyslipidemia and fatty liver, dyslipidemia will cause chronic damage to blood vessels throughout the body, premature vascular coagulation, while increasing blood viscosity, thus increasing the risk of stroke (cerebral infarction), coronary heart disease and even myocardial infarction. Most obese patients also have the existence of chronic constipation, thus increasing the chance of reabsorption of various metabolic wastes in the body. It is worth noting that some obese patients do not regulate the use of laxatives in large quantities to lose weight, which can also lead to the occurrence of medical chronic constipation and colonic melanosis.
