It has the efficacy of calming fright and removing phlegm, eliminating accumulation and relaxing the bowels. It is used for children with acute convulsions, body heat, lethargy, coarse breath, irritability, phlegm and saliva congestion (abnormal phlegm and excessive production of saliva), stoppage of breast milk and food, constipation.
