OBJECTIVE: To investigate the pathogenesis of acute cerebrovascular disease complicated by multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) and effective treatment methods. METHODS: The clinical data of 68 cases of acute cerebrovascular disease complicated by MODS beneficiaries were retrospectively analyzed. RESULTS: Cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury with microcirculatory disorders eventually led to MODS, and the etiology of concurrent upper gastrointestinal bleeding and renal failure was comprehensive. Early functional monitoring of relevant organs should be performed in treatment to actively and effectively control cerebral, respiratory, circulatory, and renal failure. CONCLUSION: The prognosis of this disease is poor, and active and effective comprehensive treatment is an important part of reducing death from MODS.
