Observe daily activities to be on the alert for pediatric cerebral palsy

Pediatric cerebral palsy is the abbreviation of childhood cerebral palsy syndrome, which is a syndrome of non-progressive brain damage caused by various reasons before birth to one month after birth. The main manifestations are central motor disorders and postural abnormalities, often accompanied by a variety of intellectual, visual and auditory, feeding, swallowing, speech and behavioral disorders, etc. In severe cases, it even affects the child’s life, making it unable to live and learn normally, and some are not even able to take care of themselves. According to China, 5% to 7% of children with cerebral palsy between the ages of 0 and 6 years old have cerebral palsy, which is a shock and fear to many first-time parents. However, if the child is more than three to five years old, the treatment will not be very effective. For this reason, young mothers and fathers are reminded to carefully observe their children’s daily activities to observe and determine if their children have signs of pediatric cerebral palsy: 1. Sleeping for too long or not sleeping 2. No sound when crying or low crying, straightening, head tilted back, and bad holding. 3.Swallowing is not good. 4.Movement with uncoordinated arms and legs, more sympathetic movement. 5.Can’t hold the legs when peeing. 6.He can’t lift his head at three months, can’t roll over at six months, and can’t sit still at eight months. 7.The eyes do not communicate with the parents, and often convulsions. If young mothers and fathers do not find their children have the above phenomena, then they must pay attention, for the sake of their children’s health and future, early to take their children to a large hospital to check, once confirmed, we must promptly treat. Early treatment is effective because brain tissue in infancy (0 — 6 months), especially in infancy, is not yet mature, still in the stage of rapid growth and development, brain injury is also in the primary stage, abnormal posture and movement has not yet been fixed, this period of brain plasticity, high compensatory capacity, strong recovery ability. If treated in time during this period, the best treatment effect can be obtained. Therefore, if you find abnormalities in your child’s daily activities, you must be vigilant to achieve early detection and early treatment.
