Hepatocellular carcinoma always wants to have a bowel movement but can’t be discharged may be caused by hypoproteinemia, dysfunction of bacterial flora, intestinal tumor metastasis and so on. 1. Hypoproteinemia: if patients suffer from hypoproteinemia during liver cancer, it will usually cause swelling or edema of the whole body and intestinal wall, resulting in decreased peristaltic function of the gastrointestinal tract, which will lead to the situation of wanting to pass stool but not being able to do so. 2. Bacteria imbalance: because patients suffer from liver cancer, they usually take medicines for a long time, which may lead to bacterial imbalance for a long time, thus causing intestinal infections and gastrointestinal function reduction, so there will be the situation of wanting to have bowel movement but not being able to do so. 3. Intestinal tumor metastasis: patients suffering from liver cancer may have intestinal tumor metastasis, and when the tumor keeps increasing, it may cause pressure on the surrounding organs, resulting in reduced digestion and absorption function of the gastrointestinal tract, and thus there is a situation of wanting to have bowel movement but not being able to do so. It is suggested that patients should closely observe their own recovery, and should also go to the hospital immediately for diagnosis and treatment if there is any malignant change in their condition.
