There is no such thing as the best way to regulate the spleen and stomach of a thin person. If the spleen and stomach are weak, they can be regulated by traditional Chinese medicine, such as tonifying the middle Jiaoqi (treating qi deficiency by replenishing the spleen) Soup and Ginseng Ling Baijushu San. Clinical manifestations of weak spleen and stomach include fullness and stuffiness in the epigastrium (abdomen), sometimes light and sometimes heavy, liking warmth and pressing, dullness (lack of appetite, reduced food intake), loose stools (thin and unshaped feces), fatigue (mental exhaustion, physical weakness), lack of energy and laziness (lack of strength, don’t want to talk), and a weak pulse. 1. Tonifying the middle Jiao Qi Tang: It is composed of Astragalus, Licorice, Ginseng, Angelica and other medicines. Its main effects are tonifying the middle Jiao Qi, raising Yang and lifting sunken organs (raising Yang Qi of the body to lift sunken organs). It is used for treating Qi deficiency in the spleen and stomach, and Qi deficiency and subsidence, with symptoms such as reduced diet, tiredness and limb weakness, lack of breath and laziness, yellowish color (yellowish color with no luster), and loose stools. It is not recommended to be used for those who have fever due to deficiency of Yin and those who have internal heat. 2. Ginseng and Atractylodis Macrocephalae San: It is composed of sand nuts, orange root, white lentil, Chinese yam and atractylodes. It has the effect of benefiting qi and strengthening the spleen (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach), and stopping diarrhea by dampness (removing dampness to treat diarrhea). Clinically, it is often used in spleen deficiency and dampness, with symptoms such as dietary inactivity, chest and epigastric constriction, intestinal discharge, weakness of limbs, emaciation, yellowish color, and so on. Adverse effects and contraindications are uncertain.
