The hazards of Sinkiang Huaqi Tablet are not known. Shenxiang Huaqi Tablet is composed of Shenxiang, Muxiang, Patchouli, Xiangshou, Sha Ren, Chenpi, Curcuma longa, Liuxinqu, and Malt. It has the efficacy of regulating qi and dredging the liver, eliminating accumulation and harmonizing the stomach. It is used for stagnation of liver and stomach qi, distension and pain in the epigastrium (abdomen), chest and diaphragm plumpness (stomach distension and discomfort), not thinking about food and drink, belching (hiccups) and acidity. The adverse reactions of Shenxiang Huqi Tablet are not clear, pregnant women are prohibited, lactating women should be cautious. Avoid eating cold, greasy and indigestible food during the period of using the medicine; avoid emotional excitement or sulking; this medicine is not applicable to spleen and stomach yin deficiency (deficiency of yin fluid in the spleen and stomach), which is mainly manifested as dry mouth, red tongue with little fluids, and dry stools. Patients are advised to use the medicine under the guidance of a doctor, do not take the medicine on your own.
