Early symptoms of systemic sclerosis include Raynaud’s phenomenon and often small venous spasms. Some patients may develop mask face as well as visceral fibrosis.
1. Raynaud’s phenomenon: when there is a change of heat and cold at the end of the limb, there will be spasm of small arteries and small veins become purple. The fingertips will become rough, the skin of small arms will become hard, and the color of the skin will gradually darken.
2. Mask face: some of them will have facial tightness and appear mask face, with nose tip becoming longer, lips becoming thinner, skin becoming thinner, and less head lines.
3. Visceral fibrosis: early symptoms are generally not obvious, although some of them will have visceral fibrosis, accompanied by pulmonary hypertension, wheezing, dry cough and cough. Some of the patients also have liver hyperfunction and leukopenia.
Early symptoms of systemic sclerosis are not typical and vary from patient to patient, so it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and treatment in a timely manner when abnormalities are detected.
