Patients with ankylosing spondylitis can be treated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and anti-rheumatic drugs to improve their condition.
1. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen, loxoprofen, indomethacin, diclofenac, naproxen and so on have anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, which can alleviate the symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis patients such as low back pain, morning stiffness and swollen joints.
2. Anti-rheumatic drugs to improve the condition: anti-rheumatic drugs to improve the condition are divided into biosynthetic preparations, traditional synthetic preparations and glucocorticoids, common drugs include thalidomide, infliximab, adalimumab, etanercept, methotrexate and so on, glucocorticoids are mostly used for patients with ankylosing spondylitis who have extra-articular involvement or musculoskeletal inflammation and other conditions.
Drugs need to be used under the guidance of a physician, it is recommended that patients with ankylosing spondylitis to the rheumatology and immunology department of a regular hospital, under the guidance of a doctor to standardize the diagnosis and treatment, to avoid self-medication, so as to avoid delays in the condition or adverse reactions.
