What to do if you can’t pass urine

The clinical manifestation of dyspareunia is usually the presence of urinary tract obstruction, especially bladder outlet obstruction, which requires prompt urological examination. For older men, you can find out if there is prostate hyperplasia through prostate ultrasound, and for other people you can do urethrography to find out if there is urethral stricture. For patients with prostate enlargement, the symptoms can be improved by medications, commonly used are finasteride, tamsulosin, doxazosin and so on. If medication does not work, surgery can be considered to remove the prostate or to dilate it with a columnar bladder. For urethral strictures, regular urethral dilatation or endostomy can also be performed.
