How long does a massive cerebral infarction last?

The survival time of patients with massive cerebral infarction ranges from several months to several years. Patients with massive cerebral infarction as severe hemiplegia and bed-ridden are prone to complications after bed-ridden, such as pneumonia with fallout, urinary tract infection, venous thrombosis of the lower limbs, and decubitus ulcers, all of which can seriously threaten the patient’s life.
