How long can I live after surgery for early stage lung cancer?

The 5-year survival rate for patients with early stage I lung cancer is about 70%-90%, but the overall 5-year survival rate for lung cancer is about 16%-30%, and the 5-year survival rate for patients from stage II onwards, especially for stage IIIB and IV, is relatively low without reasonable treatment. So the 5-year survival rate for patients with early stage I lung cancer is relatively high. It is also found that many in situ adenocarcinomas and microinvasive adenocarcinomas, which actually do not have systemic metastases, can be considered as relatively good clinical radical treatment by resection, and the 5-year survival rate is very high during the follow-up process afterwards. For example, the 5-year survival rate of in situ adenocarcinoma can be more than 90%, and there is only one primary lesion in in situ adenocarcinoma, which is 100% free of lymph node metastasis, and in this case it is inevitably divided into stage I lesion areas, so in situ adenocarcinoma basically does not require any postoperative treatment.
