Thigh soreness at night may be related to exertion, lumbar disc herniation, third transverse process syndrome and other causes.
1. Exertion: prolonged work or strenuous activities can lead to soreness, swelling and pain in the local muscles of the thighs, and if it is not relieved for a long time, there may be limited activities, obvious pressure points, fasciitis, and so on.
2. Herniated lumbar intervertebral disc: radiating pain may occur in the leg when the nerve root is compressed.
3. Third transverse process syndrome: due to the anatomical structure and biomechanical characteristics, friction, pulling and compression stimulation with the nearby soft tissues occurs during activities to form a syndrome, and the pain can be radiated to the thigh.
In addition to the above reasons, there may be other reasons for thigh pain at night, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to improve the examination to clarify the cause of the disease and then give treatment.
