Generally speaking, there are many ways to check the breast instrumentation, but in view of the breast characteristics of Chinese women, young patients’ breasts are predominantly dense, so the molybdenum target examination, which is very popular in the West (the superiority of this examination lies in the fact that it can reflect the microcalcification of cancerous tumors), is not applicable to young women in China (dense breasts cover up the points of calcification)! However, as we age, the breast tissue shrinks and becomes lax with a predominance of adipose tissue, so the superiority of the mammogram is easily demonstrated (microcalcifications can be easily detected)! Therefore, most medical practitioners recommend that before the age of 35, Doppler ultrasound should be used as the main examination, and after 35, molybdenum target examination should be used as the main examination; of course, it would be even better if the two are combined! But that will invariably increase the medical cost!
