Effectiveness and efficacy of opium poppy tablets

Popaverine Tablets, generic name Popaverine Hydrochloride Tablets, are mainly used for the treatment of ischemia due to cerebral, cardiac and peripheral vascular spasm, and spasm of internal organs such as the kidneys, bile or gastrointestinal tract.
Popaverine Hydrochloride Tablets have a direct non-specific relaxing effect on blood vessels, heart or other smooth muscles, and can be used for the treatment of ischemia due to cerebral, cardiac and peripheral vascular spasms, and spasms of internal organs such as kidney, bile or gastrointestinal tract.
Adverse reactions after the use of popaverine hydrochloride tablets include ① jaundice, obvious yellowing of the eyes and skin, suggesting hepatic function is impaired, and should be discontinued when hepatic insufficiency occurs. ② Blurred vision, diplopia, drowsiness or (and) weakness in overdose.
It is contraindicated in patients with complete atrioventricular block. Tremor paralysis (Parkinson’s disease) is contraindicated.
