How to recover in the second month after anterior fork surgery

In the second month after ACL reconstruction, i.e. 5-8 weeks after surgery, brace braking and weight bearing, straight leg raising, half squatting, and passive knee extension and flexion mobility training can be performed.
1. Brace braking and weight-bearing: full weight-bearing with a brace under the protection of 10 degrees of knee flexion.
2. Straight leg raising training: the patient takes the supine position, the knee joint is straightened and the brace is fixed, the lower limb is raised to 30~45 degrees, and put down after 10 seconds, and then repeated.
3. Semi-squatting training: wear a brace in 10~45 degrees semi-squatting activities, twice a day. 15 minutes each time.
4. Knee passive extension and flexion mobility training: Increase the knee flexion mobility to at least 135 degrees twice a day for 30 minutes each time.
Note that the recovery in the second month after ACL reconstruction should be built on the foundation of the first month, including brace braking, isometric contraction of quadriceps, patellar push-up, straight leg raise training, and knee passive extension and flexion mobility training to reach at least 90 degrees. If there is a lack of pre-training, it is difficult to complete the later training successfully.
It is recommended that patients under the guidance of a doctor or rehabilitation therapist to avoid secondary injuries caused by incorrect posture.
