The solar meridian consists of two meridians, the hand and foot solar meridians. The hand solar meridian travels in the head through the cheeks, ears and eyes, and the foot solar meridian travels from the forehead to the back of the neck and other parts of the body. The Hand Solar Small Intestine Meridian starts from the ulnar end of the little finger, goes from the hand to the head, travels on the surface of the body to the posterior edge of the upper limb and the shoulder, and then travels on the head through the cheeks, the inner and outer canthus of the eye and the middle of the ear, terminates at the inner canthus of the eye, and is connected with the Foot Solar Bladder Meridian. The Foot Sun Bladder meridian connects with the Hand Sun Small Intestine meridian at the inner corner of the eyes, travels on the dorsal side of the body surface, from the head to the feet, starting from the inner canthus of the eyes, traveling upward on the head through the forehead, over the top of the summit (top of the head), to the rear of the neck, and then traveling on the dorsal side of the body surface, terminating at the end of the lesser toes, where it meets with the Foot Shao-Yin Kidney meridian.
