It is a bronchodilator and is indicated for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, including chronic bronchitis, emphysema, concomitant dyspnea and prevention of acute attacks. Patients should not take Tiotropium for long term if adverse reactions such as dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, difficulty in urination, allergic reactions occur during the course of treatment.
