What is a bone tumor? Incidence of bone tumors?

  The full name of bone tumor is bone and soft tissue tumor. All tumors that occur in bone or originate from various tissue components of bone, whether primary, secondary or metastatic, are collectively called bone tumors. To be clear, bone tumors are not only tumors in bone, but also soft tissue tumors such as muscle, synovium, fat, nerve, blood vessel and connective tissue, and their sites include: limbs, spine, pelvis, etc.  The incidence rate of bone tumor in the population is about 0.01%. Among bone tumors: benign accounts for 50%, malignant accounts for 40%, and tumor-like lesions account for about 10%.
