Tic disorder can improve naturally. The disorder starts in childhood and is mainly characterized by rapid, repetitive, and stereotyped involuntary movements of the muscles. There are three main forms of tic disorder: 1. transient tic disorder, most of which is characterized by simple motor tics, and the duration of the disorder does not exceed one year. 2. chronic motor or vocal tic disorder, which is characterized by one or more muscle movements or vocal tics, and the duration of the disorder often lasts for several years, or even a lifetime. 3. occurring in combination with multiple motor The latter two types require drug treatment.
