Blackheads can be caused by endocrine factors as well as abnormal keratinization of the sebaceous gland ducts of hair follicles and proliferation of Propionibacterium acnes.
1. Endocrine factors: if the body androgen content increases, the sebaceous gland secretion function will become exuberant, thus secreting a large amount of oil, triggering the appearance of blackheads on the face of girls.
2. Abnormal keratinization of follicular sebaceous gland ducts: If the local follicular sebaceous gland ducts are over-keratinized, their orifices may become narrowed or even blocked, resulting in the sebum in the hair follicles not being able to be discharged normally, which may trigger the appearance of blackheads on the face of teenage girls.
3. Propionibacterium acnes proliferates: Propionibacterium acnes hydrolyzes triglycerides in sebum to free fatty acids, stimulating the proliferation of keratinocytes in the follicle ducts and over-keratinization, the latter blocking sebum excretion, and when sebum and keratin plugs pile up in the mouth of the hair follicle, acne is formed.
There are many reasons that cause blackheads on the face of young girls, and it is recommended that patients go to a regular hospital for relevant examinations to clarify the causes.
