How to treat neurofacial infection

Neurofacial neuritis is also clinically known as idiopathic facial nerve palsy, and the onset of most patients is related to viral infection. The early application of glucocorticoids may promote the absorption of inflammation, commonly used drugs are Bonisone and Dexamethasone, while B vitamins can also be used to nourish the nerve treatment, clinically generally applied methylcobalamin, adenosylcobalamin, vitamin B1 and vitamin B6. Commonly used medications include Shuxinin, Sparing Blood, and Vibrameruptone. When the patient’s condition is stable, for example, one week after the onset of the disease, acupuncture treatment can be considered, as well as physical therapy or rehabilitation treatment. Most patients start to improve two weeks after the onset of the disease and recover completely within two months, but some of them may have some sequelae.
