Symptoms of Sheehan syndrome

Sheehan syndrome (Sheehan syndrome), a syndrome of hypopituitarism of the anterior pituitary gland caused by ischemic necrosis of the pituitary gland as a result of postpartum hemorrhage. The main symptoms are that you usually feel weak and lethargic, there is no milk production, and you experience amenorrhea. Sometimes even when menstruation occurs, it is scanty and irregular. Due to the decrease in estrogen level there will be a decrease in libido. Usually there will be symptoms of blood loss such as unresponsiveness, drier skin, low body temperature, decreased appetite, pallor, or low blood pressure. If there is Schihan’s syndrome, the level of various hormones will be significantly decreased, such as luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone, prolactin, estrogen, and progesterone. This condition is found to be actively treated for anemia, while taking some adrenocorticotropic hormones appropriately. Estrogen and progesterone artificial cycle therapy can be taken to regulate menstruation.
