Are all hepatitis B echoes slightly thicker?

Patients with hepatitis B undergoing ultrasound examination may not always have slightly coarse echoes, and some mildly ill patients may even have no big difference from normal people.
If hepatitis B virus reproduces in large quantities, resulting in serious liver damage, ultrasonography will show rough echoes, and in some patients with serious conditions, it may show changes in the shape of the liver and narrowing of the hepatic veins. In some mild cases, the ultrasound examination may show no obvious abnormality.
Generally speaking, the liver damage observed in ultrasound examination can only be used to initially determine the severity of the condition of hepatitis B patients, and it is necessary to undergo other tests, such as liver function tests, liver fibrosis tests, quantitative tests of the hepatitis B virus and so on.
Liver disease is more damaging to the patient’s health, and it is recommended that the patient standardize the treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
